How I create designs

All my illustrations are created using Adobe Illustrator and a lot of imagination!

I first came up with cute phrases that I thought would make good cards. Then I ran those phrases by a couple of friends. The one’s that passed the “make your friend smile” challenge then moved on to the design phase.

I next sketched several designs for each, trying to get a composition that I liked. I decided to do my cards as 4″ x 6″ because this was the size available at RedBubble, where I’m selling these.

Once I found a sketch I liked, I created the design in Illustrator.
