I had fun making this graphic, and we’ll see if I can keep it up in weeks to come.

  • Random update

Today, I wrote over 3000 words in Manifestation of Prophecy, which puts me at 60% completion. I’m on a roll, but I need to take a break soon to work on Tale 5 of Tales of a Vernian Youth.

    Author problems, right? 🤣

If I could focus on writing full-time, I could probably finish 4-6 books a year. But for now, I’m fitting it in where I can. Days like today, where I can just sit and concentrate on writing, are a rarity. So I try to enjoy them when I have them.

  • Crus Turghom

Today I’m happy to be able to share the latest portrait of characters from A Little Bit of Chaos Theory.

Crus Turghom is from an aquatic race is aliens known as the Ajdbi, who are famous for their disposition. It’s not sunny. It’s more like……..constant worrying and complaining.

But Crus is different. She fights those complaining urges and instead dedicated her life to providing space transport for people looking for a little adventure in their lives.

But her newest patrons want to go way off script!

  • Today’s celebration

When some days feel like total failures, I find it’s important to celebrate my wins.

I was able to take time out to write in ManiProphy today. I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked, but when I looked, I realized that I’m over 40% done with the story.

Before I started writing, I spent months fine tuning the outline with a developmental editor. This is a complete rewrite of a previously written story, so I knew the major beats. However, I felt like I was too close to the story to see its issues.

Writing with the outline has been such a boon to my writing speed. Since I created such a detailed outline, I have all the scenes in my head and it’s just a matter of getting the words down.

I hope you’ll join me in celebrating today’s win.

Next milestone is 50% for this story!
